6:00 P.M. – “Top of the Stalk”– Reception honoring King Sucrose 70th by the Former Kings’ Association. [By invitation.]


7:00 P.M. – 12:00 Midnight Fais-do-do /Music Concert. Bouligny Plaza, Main Street at the Hi Sugar Stage. Free entry– Community Invited. [No ice Chest allowed]

8:00 A.M. - 4-H Sugar Cookery Contest Registration - Cyr-Gates Community Center, City Park.


10:00 A.M. – Mass & Blessing of the Crop - Louisiana Sugar Cane Festival Building in New Iberia City Park. Community Invited. Continental Breakfast immediately after Mass.


11:00 A.M. – 4-H Sugar Cookery Contest Awards presented to winners, Cyr Gates Community Center, City Park. Free Admission. Community Invited.


11:30 A.M. – Judging of Best Decorated Storefronts & Residences in celebration of the Sugar Festival and Industry - Judging is throughout the city of New Iberia. To insure inclusion, register on line at lovelasugar@aol.com .


12:00 Noon – 11:00 P.M. – Mitchell Brothers’ Shows– Kids Day – Between the hours of 12:00 Noon and 5:00 P.M., rides will be $1.00. Regular fare after 5:00 P.M.
